Recipe Of Gratin Of Cauliflower And Broccoli



This creamy broccoli-and-cauliflower casserole is a hassle-free side dish that just about everyone loves.  It is full of healthy veggies that will shrink your waste line.  It’s a good weekly side dish.

Ingredients:

* 1/2 cauliflower
* 1-foot broccoli
* 50g flour
* 50g butter
* 50 cl of milk
* 2 onions
* 80g grated County
* 2 c. oil soup
* 1 pinch of nutmeg
* Salt pepper

Method:

* Start preparing cauliflower gratin and broccoli by cutting the broccoli and cauliflower into small florets.

* Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and immerse the bouquets of cauliflower and broccoli. Bake 10 minutes then drain.

* Peel and slice the onions. Heat the oil in a pan and let it sweat the onions for a few minutes, remove from heat once they are translucent and slightly colored.

* Prepare bechamel sauce. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour at once and stir vigorously then pour the milk stream while whisking constantly until a béchamel. Salt and pepper, add the nutmeg.

* Remove the white sauce from heat and add the grated county and onions. Mix well.

* Preheat the oven grill position.

* Put bunches of cauliflower and broccoli in a buttered baking dish and pour the bechamel sauce over and bake the dish for broil.

* Make broil until the cheese bechamel sauce is golden brown.

* Use your gratin of cauliflower and broccoli straight from the oven to accompany red meat, for example, or a single dish with well seasoned green salad.
