Onion Rings



Try these delicious onion rings recipe - it's quick, easy and tasty too! This classic onion rings recipe is sure to become a family weekend favorite. Turn the humble onion into a tasty hot snack - or a great accompaniment for burgers, steaks, and barbecues.

Onion rings are so much better homemade, they're bursting with flavor and ideal served with dips and dressing to make them extra special.

Ingredients:

* 190g flour
* 1/2 packet of yeast (1 tbsp)
* 375ml beer or carbonated water
* 2 medium onions
* Frying oil
* Pepper
* Salt

Method:

* Mix in a bowl 190 g of flour, yeast, salt, and pepper.

* Gradually add beer or sparkling water and mix well.

* Peel the two onions and cut into slices 3 mm thick. Separate the slices into rings.

* In a pan, add oil (about 1/3 or 1/2 of the oil pan) and let it heat up.

* Using a fork, dip a few onion rings in the mixture and drop them into the hot oil.

* Once they are golden, remove them, drain them and put them on a plate with paper towels.

* Salt them and serve immediately with the sauce.
